honey apple deviled eggs

This sweet take on a traditional deviled egg is a great way to celebrate our farm fresh eggs. Eggs are a simple starting place to get creative with your favorite flavors. In this case, fresh apples, local honey and a touch of cinnamon for an almost apple pie flavor.

A little about this week’s ingredients:

Our eggs come from sustainably raised chickens that contribute to the regenerative strategies on our member farms, not only providing eggs but also helping to prepare garden beds between seasons.

This week’s produce delivery includes honey from our old friends at King Cobra Apiary that will be just perfect for this recipe. Using local honey is a great way to support local businesses, local pollinators and your immune system!

Our apples always come from Sugarloaf Orchards. A family owned century farm, they have the best apples and other orchard fruit in NC. We love their selection of typical and heirloom variety apples.
