Mizuna Lettuce Salad

Mizuna Lettuce Salad

Ingredients

For the Salad

1 large bunch fresh mizuna lettuce, washed, dried and chopped

1/2 tart sweet apple, thinly sliced into matchsticks

2 tbsp raisins

2 tbsp sunflower seeds

For the Dressing

2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

1 tbsp fresh lemon juice

1 tsp dijon mustard

1 tsp apple cider vinegar

1 tsp honey (or maple syrup for vegan option)

pinch Kosher salt

pinch black pepper

Preparation

  1. Combine the mizuna, apples, raisins and sunflower seeds in a large bowl.

  2. Whisk together all the dressing ingredients in a small bowl or jar. Pour over the salad and toss until well combined.

  3. Serve and enjoy once dressed.
