Mizuna Lettuce Salad
This recipe is a refreshing spin on a side salad for any meal. The mizuna greens are a lovely compliment to crisp fall apples, and the dressing is really where the flavor kicks in. It is an easy and delicious combination the whole family will love.

Ingredients
For the Salad
1 large bunch fresh mizuna lettuce, washed, dried and chopped
1/2 tart sweet apple, thinly sliced into matchsticks
2 tbsp raisins
2 tbsp sunflower seeds
For the Dressing
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1 tsp dijon mustard
1 tsp apple cider vinegar
1 tsp honey (or maple syrup for vegan option)
pinch Kosher salt
pinch black pepper
Preparation
Combine the mizuna, apples, raisins and sunflower seeds in a large bowl.
Whisk together all the dressing ingredients in a small bowl or jar. Pour over the salad and toss until well combined.
Serve and enjoy once dressed.
